a few concept sketches
We all enjoy the story of Clutch…by all I mean the three of us. As I mentioned, If sales go well, we have intentions of putting out some Berona’s War spin-off comics after the release of the second book. One of which will be “Clutch.”
A character from the first book (you will have to wait and see who but a hint: this character is ahead of the curve) will take to the field and become Clutch! His nemesis….Holmes!
Wade added some love to one of my Clutch concept sketches.
If we do our jobs right, the ending will be…well, not what you expected.
Clutch designes a backpack that can be wound up to give him the tension needed to activate his equipment and weapons. But this hero is only as good as his gear. So unlike Batman, who is a bad-ass 24/7, Clutch is pretty lame without his goods! So when his backpack runs down he has to quickly wind it back up….there in lies the comedy! Arrows whizzing by, assassins rushing in, pressure pouring down, and there Clutch is hiding behind a rock winding his pack!
