The other day I was looking out from my office window and a bird sitting on the edge of the bird feeder caught my eye. The reason it caught my eye was of his extended wings. Now this might be a common thing among birds but seeing I’m no bird expert, I had never seen this before. Anyway, I found this little fellow to be inspirational. I took a couple of quick snapshots of him and figured I could do something with it later.
Anthony and I have been trying to fill up a couple of mini-portfolios (5x7) for the SDCC. This, at first, didn’t seem like that big of a deal. However, trying to get 50 pictures (each) done in only a few weeks was tougher than we thought. Ideas start running low after the first 30 or so.
Well thats when I remembered my little friend, A.C. 17, who had returned several times since his debut. Yeah, I started calling him A.C. 17 and there is absolutly no reason why…none other than I thought he had a “mecha” Look to him and that name had one too.
The Jackdaw seemed like the perfect candidates for the character, seeing how they love birds and all. So I designed “Aries Constance” in his honer! Thanks to that little guy, I know have one more picture for my portfolio! Thanks AC!
