One of the best things about the con was all the great people! We met up with our friend Joseph, who in turn introduced us to some of his friends. We all went out a few nights (doing whatever it took to stay out of our hotel room) and had a great time. Good Food, Good Drinks, Good Fun! It’s the typical convention behaviors…Late nights and early mornings, and boy did the mornings come early.

Now, Anthony and I have gotten requests to do our characters as spicific super heroes or Star Wars characters and what not, but halfway through the con we started getting requests to do our character as themselves. We actually hung out with this group one of the nights and had a good time, so doing this drawing was pretty enjoyable.

We sat next to Katie Cook, who was nice enough to keep her eye on our table when we weren’t there. We did quite a bit of traveling back and forth from our table to Archaia’s booth. And its pretty easy to lose a table to someone else if its unattended. Katie and her husband would inform any of the Con’s staff that we were away doing a signing and would be back soon. To say “Thanks” Anthony and I drew her a fun little cat picture. Anthony drew the tall one and I did the little fat one.

We did quite a few commissions but we took some pictures of some of our favorites. Its always a good feelings when someone comes up to you and asks for a spicif character that you created. Sure, it’s fun to draw them as a Jedi or video game character but when someone comes up and asks you for a spicific sniper, medic or archer…it makes ya smile!

And to wrap things up, we ended up meeting Doug TenNapel, creator of Earth Worm Jim…man, the hours we spent playing that game when we were younger! He was even nice enough to give us a quote to put on the back of Berona’s War II: Fight for Amity.
On Sunday after things were winding down at the con, We met up with Blair and Mike Kitchen. We had bumped into them earlier that day and were admiring their work…the Possum and Spy Guy. We ended up grabbing a bite with them later that night and really enjoyed ourselves, not to mention that the food was pretty damn good too! We were just thinking that it might be nice to do a cross-over poster at some time in the future. Anyway, we had a REALLY good time and want to than all of you for stopping by and saying hello.
