Man, the Emerald City Comic Con was an amazing con to be at. We were lucky enough to get to meet and hang out with some really talented artist. We even got to sit next to two of our favorite artist, Humberto Ramos and Francisco Herrera! Talk about pressure. Those are two really nice guys. The list of talent is pretty long. We got the chance to meet up with Doug TenNapel again and he was nice enough to give us a quote for our book. We also saw Skottie Young, Sean “Cheeks” Galloway, Randy Kintz, Mark Brooks, Mike Mignola, Bruce Timm and countless others. We were definitely humbled by all the talent.

This was easily one of the best cons we have been to. Now, we just need to make sure and teach Brandi how to use the camera so we can get pics of our favorite artists that are actually in focus. haha.
We also got a chance to go and sketch with a few of the guys and gals on saturday night at a sketch bomb. There were a lot of good times had there.

Here we were lucky enough to witness a meeting of great minds. Jesse was working his magic and walked Mike Moon and Edward Mejia (both from Disney) over to Francisco’s table to give them a proper introduction. Needless to say, I think they were interested in Francisco’s work..you go Jesse!
We met our good buddy Ian on saturday. His father wrote to us and told us how big of a fan he was of Berona’s War. Apparently our book has the power to make kids popular! Thats right you heard what I said. The book was causing such a distraction among his friends that they were forced to ban it from his school. He is also the first kid ever to have his very own Berona’s War party! How cool is that! Send us some pics, Ian!
