Bret (One of our main Cabbalu) came up with the idea of taking a stab at some audio books. Well, I guess its more of an audio story rather than book. On our way to Seattle, Anthony and I tossed the idea back and forth and decided it was worth a shot. So in preparation for Free Comic Book day we are planning on presention our first audio story. Our plan is to have one or two different compact discs, each with two 25 minute stories as well as two wallpapers and a separate audio track containing music from the stories bg.

For our first cd (we have almost completed) we will have two stories, “Death of a Runner” and “the Winding.” I wrote Death of a Runner and handed it over to Bret because after the last few stories I wrote, I find its best to hand them off to an actual writer. Its about two Cropon Runners who, though best of friends, are always trying to one-up the other. As far as stories go, I am fairly proud of it and think you will enjoy it.

Than there is The Winding, which is pretty much all Bret’s doing! The first time I read it, I loved it. Its one of our few stories that evolves around the Ruthless! Who wouldn’t love that? The Winding is the name of their vessel and the crew who mans it is one rough bunch of lovable characters! I have no doubts that this story will be enjoyed by everyone who hears it!

I am in the middle of working for the Wallpaper for this story and have completed the design of the 6 characters. What makes this group so fun is the unlikely assortment of the crew. The twins, Lock and Cage, who refuse to believe that theyt arent really twins at all. Aldo, the huge, mean brute of a first mate who has a hard time thinking outside the box. The intimidatingly beautiful Effera, who left Jackdaw and brings the brains to the crew but who is self conscience of her looks. and there is Dink…wow…Dink.
Ill keep you posted on this project.

Who is doing the reading? Will there be sound effects and music to flesh it out? Will there be a *ding* when it's time to turn the page?
