TATTOO & BROW CANCELLATION POLICY

*Note: This form is NOT for piercing appointment cancellations. If you must cancel a piercing appointment, please refer to your piercing appointment confirmation e-mail. There will be a cancellation button in that message.
Our cancellation policy is for the protection of our artists and their investment of time and resources used to prepare for your upcoming appointment. When a cancellation happens without sufficient notice, we are often unable to fill the scheduled block of time with another client or service, resulting in a loss of income for our artists.
At Amity Ink, we are dedicated to making your custom tattoo and brow arts experience as proficient and streamlined as our team is able. Therefore, we ask you to please read our cancellation policy carefully and consider the commitment when booking a tattoo at our studio.
//CARD ON FILE
We now require a valid credit card to be placed on file at the time of booking any tattoo or brow service (via our online booking page [www.amityink.com/booking] or in-person), including: In-Studio Consultations, Tattoo Drafting Sessions, Tattoo Sessions, Brow Art Consultations, Brow Art Sessions, and all Touch-Up Appointments. Your card will NOT be charged by Amity Ink, LLC at the time of booking a tattoo service; a charge may occur only in the event of a cancellation as defined by this policy.
Note: Placing an invalid card on file, a card with insufficient funds, or attempting to prevent a cancellation charge from being processed, may result in a permanent ban from our studio.
//CANCELLATION RATES (Based on Service Type)
• In-Studio Consultations (Tattoo & Brow Arts)
[More than 5 Days Prior] No cancellation fees will be accrued.
[Less than 5 Days up to 1 Day Prior] No cancellation fees will be accrued.
[Within 24 Hours Prior] A $25 cancellation fee will be accrued.
• Tattoo Drafting Sessions
[More than 5 Days Prior] No cancellation fees will be accrued.
[Less than 5 Days up to 1 Day Prior] A $25 cancellation fee will be accrued.
[Within 24 Hours Prior] A $75 cancellation fee will be accrued.
• Touch-Up Sessions
[More than 5 Days Prior] No cancellation fees will be accrued.
[Less than 5 Days up to 1 Day Prior] A $25 cancellation fee will be accrued.
[Within 24 Hours Prior] A $75 cancellation fee will be accrued.
• TATTOO SESSIONS & BROW ART PROCEDURES
[More than 5 Days Prior] No cancellation fees will be accrued.
[Less than 5 Days up to 1 Day Prior] A cancellation fee of 50% of the booked hourly rate or quoted price for the session will be accrued.
[Within 24 Hours Prior] A cancellation fee of 100% of the booked hourly rate or quoted price for the session will be accrued.
Example: A 4-hour session booked with Scotty (@$150/hr), the fees accrued would be $300 if cancelled within 1-5 days, or $600 within 24 hours.
Note: All cancellation fees will be processed within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, using the card placed on file at the time of booking.
// HOW TO CANCEL
If you're certain you're unable to make your appointment, it is imperative our artists are aware as soon as possible. Due to the number of personal messages we receive across multiple platforms, Amity Ink requires all scheduled tattoo appointments to be cancelled via our cancellation form found at the bottom of this page [amityink.com/tattoo-cancellation].
At this time, we will not consider any of the following means as an agreeable form of notifying your artist the desire to cancel: Phonecall (Voicemail), Text Message, Social Media DM (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), or E-mail. If we do not receive proper notice via a submitted form on the cancellation page, we will consider you a no-show and the full cancellation fee will be accrued.
// CANCELLATION FEE EXEMPTIONS
It is at the sole discretion of each Amity Ink artist to review the cancellation form submission and determine if a cancellation fee will be accrued. All of our artists are adults with families, so we understand when difficult situations arise. Providing a valid reason for cancelling does not guarantee any fees will be waived, however, your artist may choose to waive any fees based on the reasons provided – again, at their own discretion.
// RESCHEDULING
If you are unable to keep your appointment, but would like to reschedule for a later date, we still require a submission of our Cancellation Form to properly notify your artist. Your artist will then correspond, at their earliest convenience, to reschedule your appointment within their availability.
Note: There may be a considerable duration between your original appointment and your rescheduled appointment (several months apart, in some cases) as some of our artists fill their schedules far in advance and may not have availability shortly after your initial appointment. Notifying your artist as soon as possible can sometimes assist in rescheduling a sooner date.
